Isaiah 9:6-7
Jesus is the gift of God:
He is the Son of Man, "A child is born" and He is the Son of God, "A Son is given."
He takes on the burden we cannot bear, "The government will be upon His shoulder."
Jesus in the name of God:
Wonderful Counselor - Perfect in wisdom
Mighty God - Perfect in strength
Everlasting Father - Perfect love
Prince of Peace - Perfect in victory
Jesus is the ruler God promised:
His rule will achieve an unending peace.
His rule will fulfill God's promises.
His rule will be established on justice.
His rule will be established with grace.
There is no one like Jesus.
