8:34-9:1 Have you embraced sacrificial living as a Christ follower? The Cross Life.
Dueling Desires: Whoever desires to come after Me - vs - whoever desires to save his life.
Spiritual Value-VS-Empty Enrichment: "For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul."
Ashamed-VS-Assured: Some keep their distance from Jesus and His Gospel, but some will experience His presence and power as they follow Him.
