In serving Jesus we serve others. (Motivation)
Let Jesus initiate our service: You give them something to eat.
Let Jesus identify resources for our service: How many loaves do you have? Go and see?
Let Jesus instruct our service: He commanded them to make them all sit down...blessed and broke the loaves, and gave them to His disciples to set before them."
Understanding and becoming confident - If Jesus can get you to heaven, then He can get you through your trials. If God can create the universe, then He can author a book. If He can multiply loaves, then He can walk on water. "For they had not understood about the loaves, because their heart was hardened."
When Jesus is lifted up, He will draw people to Himself. "The people recognized Him, ran through that whole surrounding region...to wherever they heard He was." Jesus is the key!
