"Thank GOD for the Good Shepherd"
John 10:1-21

Thank GOD for the Good Shepherd-because they are not all good.
The Thief-10:1, 5, 8, 10: "The thief does not come except to steal, kill and to destroy."
The Hireling-10:12, 13: "The hireling flees because he...does not care about the sheep."

Thank GOD for the Good Shepherd's leadership.
It is right-He enters by the door.
It is cooperative-door keeper opens to Him.
It is relational-His sheep hear His voice and they know His voice.
It is compassionate-He leads them, He goes before them and they follow Him.

Thank GOD for the Good Shepherd's gift and power.
His gift is life.
"I have come that they may have life, and...may have it more abundantly."
"The Good Shepherd gives His life for the sheep."
His Power
Unity-"There will be one flock and one Shepherd."
Resurrection-"I have the power to lay it down and...the power to take it again."
