"Let it be known...that we do not serve your gods, nor will we worship the gold image which you have set up." Daniel 3:18
Background: Two diferent governments, make official decrees contrary to God's Word, and are ready to penalize anyone who is not in compliance, yet several of the people of God refuse to comply.
Stand: Not ingnorance, not civil disobedience, but holy obedience to God alone! 3:15, 6:9-10
Endure: "Then these men were bound...and were cast into the midst of the...furnace." "They brought Daniel and cast him into the den of lions." 3:21; 6:16
Witness: "My God sent His angel and shut the lions' mouths." Innocent before God and man. 6:22
Rest: The results are not ours to control. Trust God to glorify Himself as He sees fit. 3:28, 6:25-27 (Psalm 50:15)
