"Do Not Fear Them"
Mathew 10:26-33
"Do Not Fear Them." - And that is an order! This is GOD's standard and goal for all HIS people. The fear of people is a trap - "The fear of man brings a snare, but whoever trusts in the LORD shall be safe." Proverbs 29:25
Reason #1: The uniqueness of GOD and the limitations of everyone else. "Do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But…fear HIM…who is able to destroy both body and soul in hell." !0:21
Reason #2: The immense value GOD has placed on HIS people. "Do not fear therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows." 10:31
Reason #3: The importance of our witness and relationship with God. "Therefore whoever confesses Me (Jesus Christ) before men, him I will also confess…but whoever denies Me before men, him I will also deny" 10:32, 33
